Wordpress LScache Plugin: Litespeed CSS wait times
Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02 Hi, I have been having random styling issues with the google bots recently, some runs I get a fast load time for a particular CSS file on GTMetrix of 69.5ms whereas the CSS files sometimes take 543.9ms+ which looks like it could be causing the styling issues for the Google bot as it doesnt want to wait for all of these and they get skipped. Is there anything I can do to resolve this potentially, thank you! Hi, if sometime fast sometimes slow , then I can only guess the network fluctuation on your server try add a CDN service for that Best regards, I added the Cloudflare DNS to my site and waited for the propogation and the results were the same where some runs it would take longer, the purple waiting shown within the waterfall is different most times too with the first request taking much longer than previous runs as shown in the print screen. Not sure why this is occuring sadly. https://i.imgur.com/zQsbOnU.png Hi, click on these CSS request, make sure you see cf-cache-stauts: hit , if not refresh it few times to populate the cache Best regards, I have had my host move our site over to check that it wasnt the server and the same issue is occuring, is it normal to get: x-litespeed-cache miss as this is causing a high server response time Hi, it could be normal on first access after refresh it once or twice, you should see it becomes x-litespeed-cache: hit , if you constantly see miss , then it is an issue Best regards, Hey I dont constantly see it but when testing in GTMetrix i get a miss fairly often which causes the performance score to drop from A to E wait a second , are we talking about CSS? or the main page here now ? The css doesnt load most of the time for the google mobile page test in the search console, although when testing in gtmetrix the litespeed cache does miss sometimes causing the score to plummet Hi, please try this way 1. use an android phone + chrome (if you dont own an android phone, can use desktop chromes mobile simulator) to access one page twice or thrice , this will make sure cache populates on android mobile where google mobile test does 2. now do mobile page test , and see how it goes , and please do me a full screenshot if you got any error on that Best regards, Hi, Im going to mark this topic Resolved , due to lack of activity. If you still need help, please feel free to re-open it. When re-open it, please also change the topic status to not solved Best regards,
