Wordpress LScache Plugin: LiteSpeed vs other caching plugins

Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02
Hello. I plan to buy a VPS that has LiteSpeed as option. But on my current VPS I dont have it and Im using caching plugins such as WPSuperCache or SGOptimizer. If I move to the LiteSpeed server, I would be using this caching plugin and none of the other ones, right? Also, Im using Cloudflare but I guess no problem there.(?) Hi, @wpdreamer If youre comfortable with your current caching plugins, you can continue to use them with LiteSpeed Web Server. We do hope youll try LiteSpeed Cache, though! Its integrated directly into the server, and should give you better performance than you would get with the other plugins that dont have that advantage. And yes, you can use LiteSpeed with Cloudflare. Let us know if you have any other questions! ..you can continue to use them with LiteSpeed Web Server. Well, I dont to use multiple caching plugins, just one would be perfect. Isnt LiteSpeed alone better than LiteSpeed+Other plugins doing the same thing (caching)? What I meant by If youre comfortable with your current caching plugins, you can continue to use them with LiteSpeed Web Server. is that you can use other caching plugins with our web server, and not enable our caching plugin at all, if you were satisfied with your current setup. But yes, the most efficient thing would be to use the LiteSpeed cache plugin and get rid of the others. Did I understand your question correctly this time? Yes, thank you. Great! Welcome to LiteSpeed
