Wordpress LScache Plugin: LiteSpeed has detected another plugin using the Advanced Cache file

Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02
I migrated my site to a Litespeed host and installed the LSCACHE plugin. I did have other caching plugins installed previously, but they have since been uninstalled, but I am still getting the below message. LiteSpeed has detected another plugin using the Advanced Cache file. LiteSpeed Cache does work with other optimisation plugins, but only if functionality is not duplicated. Only one full-page cache may be activated. If this is the case, the network admin may uncheck Check Advanced Cache in LiteSpeed Cache Advanced settings. Learn More Hi @lordsnake, May I know have you uninstall the previous cache plugin or just deactivate? Can you try to rename wp-content/advanced-cache.php to wp-content/advanced-cache.php.bak to see is it fixed. Also, please check wp-config.php to see has WP_CACHE set to true? Thanks, Stanley I renamed the advanced-cache and let it create a new one, which has solved the problem. I did not realise this file was created by the caching plugin itself Sounds great, normally advanced-cache.php should be auto removed when deactivating the caching plugin. If it doesnt you can backup and remove by yourself if you confirm it doesnt related to other plugins anymore.

LiteCache Rush: Speed comes from using less, not from doing it faster
