LiteSpeed Image Optimization Stuck at 3%

Wordpress LScache Plugin: LiteSpeed Image Optimization Stuck at 3%

Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02
So we are using LiteSpeed Enterprise and OpenLiteSpeed to several customers and in last months I have observed that Image Optimization is getting stuck at 2-3% on each WordPress install. I have tried all the possible ways. Whitelisted the IPs, checked the connections, Cleared Unfinished Data couple of times. The performance is just close to 0. Around 7k images in one week. Images are very small 50-100k mostly, should I keep trying or dump this option and get another solution? If you have any limits please let us know about them, so we could do the math. Because running pngoptim or jpegoptim is much faster. Thanks. Later Add Report number: OWYWXWMN in case you need it. This topic was modified 2 years, 7 months ago by edavrio. Hi, Apologizes for the inconvenience. our image servers are under heavy loaded , and we will expand the capacity with v3.0 release Best regards, After being stuck at 1%, at now stuck at 2,5 %, like you? Even if the process is clear, you (Lite Speed team) should give more informations about the real time status? Totally agree. The information provided now is very confusing and there are issues with the queue. I think this service could be made a little bit different something like. If you are running LiteSpeed Enterprise you get more slots for uploading, if you are running OpenLiteSpeed you get your credit based on general usage. Because I do believe there are people abusing the service. We have customers with 2000 images waiting for weeks. Thanks. @edavrio and @ledjack Thank you for your feedback. Image optimization will be different in v3. There will be a standard queue akin to what you are using today, and a fast queue. Standard queue is free and unlimited for everyone. Fast queue usage will be governed by quota, of which you get a free supply each month. The amount of free quota will vary based on the sites server (i.e. non-LiteSpeed users will get the least, OpenLiteSpeed users will get more, and Enterprise users will get much more). You can learn more about that here. (Look under the Image Optimization tabs for specifics.) V3 is not available through the WP Plugin Directory yet, but you are welcome to upgrade now through this alternate method, if you wish.

LiteCache Rush: Speed comes from using less, not from doing it faster
