LiteSpeed Cache causing CLS issue with Astra theme

Wordpress LScache Plugin: LiteSpeed Cache causing CLS issue with Astra theme

Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02
Hi there, I am having CLS issue with the desktop header on Astra theme. This is being caused by the LiteSpeed Cache plugin. It only appears when the plugin is active. When I deactivate the plugin, it disappears. Also, when I purge all pages, it gets fixed temporarily but starts to show up again after a while. Please help me fix this asap. Thanks in advance! The page I need help with: https://www.geekinstructor.com/2019/07/fix-instagram-not-showing-gallery-photos-story.html Hi, I am seeing CLS, 0.036 what does it show with plugin off? Best regards, The CLS is way too high up to 0.47 Where did you checked it? Maybe the page was purged when you checked. Please check again in PageSpeed Insights and Gtmatrix. but I see, you refer to desktop page please provide the report number , you can get it in toolbox -> report -> click send to LiteSpeed Thanks for the correction. This problem happens only with the desktop version. Heres the report number: SFGRYLEV this is kind of weird , I dont really see anything from report that could affect CLS could you please try go to toolbox -> export/import, reset to default setting ? I already did that once. But no luck. I think this particular CLS issue is being caused by the Astra CSS: https://www.geekinstructor.com/wp-content/themes/astra/assets/css/minified/frontend.min.css?ver=3.9.2 Please check this screenshot: https://www.geekinstructor.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/astra-header-cls.png Before the full web page is loaded, the theme blinks the desktop primary menu in vertical mode (as you can see in the screenshot). After full loading, it changes to normal. This desktop header primary menu is causing the CLS issue by shifting the layout. Surprisingly, it only happens when the LiteSpeed Cache is activated. When I purge the page, the header menus loads perfect without any layout shifting. Does the plugin affect this CSS or any other JavaScript in the theme in any way? Please look at this issue from this point of view. now this is weird if you are using default setting , I will not expect any change on JS/CSS please create a ticket by mail to support at litespeedtech.com we will investigate furhter. I have created a ticket. Please investigate further and help me find a solution. Thanks in advance.
