Wordpress LScache Plugin: Links within sitemap returns 404

Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02
Hi there, First off, thanks for this great plugin. My problem is with the sitemap The sitemap generated by LS contains a few links that all of them are corrupt. So I had to set a custom sitemap created by YOAST and it seems to be working. The crawler section is not well documented for a non-tech user, for example I dont know what reset position button does and what the size item and position basically mean. I really appreciate it if you could provide a more comprehensive explanation for crawling. Thanks a lot, Hi, Crawlers sitemap and its improvement is already on the to-do list. And yes , that section does require more details documentations. Will look into it. Thanks for your support and advice Best regards Thanks a lot for your reply. Just another question, When I post/update a product, the cache of that specific product and relevant pages get purged, right? Then how is the cache primed again? Does crawler do that for us right away? Or we should wait for some non-logged-in users to take care of that. Regards, Hi, moemauphie The crawler works on a schedule, so those purged pages would either be recached when a visitor requested them, or when the crawler started up, whichever came first. They dont get recached right away. Hope this helps! Thanks, So based on the default settings, when a post/product is published/updated, some other pages (at least 5 or 6 pages) will be automatically purged. As a feature request, I think that wouldnt be a bad idea to have an option to reach those pages right after publishing/updating posts. And a problem with the plugin, When I enable the plugin, one of the links in the main menu gets a wrong css class (current_page_item) and thereafter becomes colored. How can I solve it? Link to my website: ??????? ???? Thanks a lot, The menu problem solved. Thanks One more question, How can we purge cache per page? For example I edit the home page and want to purge only the home page, How should I do that? W3 total has an option in each page ro purge cache. Regards, Hi, You can purge from admin bar , like this screenshot https://i.imgur.com/2pE8kN7.jpg If somehow , your theme does not have admin bar , you can also use this from manage tab https://i.imgur.com/3amezAe.jpg You can also use WP CLI wp lscache-purge url https://mysite.com/ to purge Best regards, Thanks a lot, Hi, Crawler wiki has been updated. please let us know if you still have anything you feel confusing. Best regards,
