Wordpress LScache Plugin: Lightspeed plugin not detecting LSMCD
Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02 My host (knownhost) installed LSMCD in port port 11211 and disabled the stock memecache daemon that was using it. I restarted the server. I used the terminal to stop and restart LSMCD and the plugin still is not detecting it. Ive spent a good chunk of a week messing around with trying to get nameservers working and litespeed and LSMCD working together with this plugin and the CDN?and its still not right. I kick myself in the rear for not just getting a Cloudways Vltr HF or something similar. I could have just cloned the sites and been up and running in 3-4 hours. The page I need help with: http://gardenerspath.com And image loading is atrocious compared to WPRocket or Perfmatters. Google is loving the pagespeed insight scores, even with it half running, but wow, in the hand (especially on mobile), the lazy load is waaaaaaaay too slow. I might have been a bit premature in the lazy load thing?I think it was from me clearing the entire cache too much and it needing to preload. Hi, please create new topic for lazyload and keep this one for LSMCD what exactly do you mean by not detect ? please do me a screenshot on your object cache setting page and also create a php file with following code , replace username and password to your SASL authentication and then access it by browser, see what it shows Best regards, Your last couple sentences identifies the problem: My host earlier this morning when I asked about SASL and username/password: `There isnt a username/password with this, at least not by default. SASL refers to the following. === https://docs.litespeedtech.com/products/lsmcd/configuration/sasl/ === That configuration is not really necessary though, since LSMCD is configured to only be accessible on the local server.` emmmmm???? if you dont have SASL on , you can use this code to test
LiteCache Rush: Speed comes from using less, not from doing it faster
