Wordpress LScache Plugin: Lazy load ? what exactly is it suppose to do?

Apologies for very basic question. Google Pagespeed insights suggested I use lazy load images. So enabled in Page Optimization. But what happens is the images seems to reload every page change or refresh. ie they take time to show up. This does not happen without lazy load so Im not quite sure of the advantage. Please can someone explain if there is a way to stop this happening, thanks. Is it just something in the settings? Thanks well , thats exactly what and how lazyload does , it loads in lazy way by lazy in such context, it means it doesnt load at same time as page renders , but only after page is rendered and image scrolled into viewport for example you have 10 images in your page from top to bottom without lazyload , all these 10 images will be requested and loaded as your page loads , even people doesnt scroll down to the bottom to see last image , but it still loads, this costs time and bandwidth with lazyload , only first few images within the viewport will be loaded , and rest of page will only be loaded once visitor scrolls down the page , this will save time and bandwidth Thanks that makes sense. I just found the media exclude tab to whitelist images above the fold so all good now!
