Running Apache and LiteSpeed in parallel by running LiteSpeed on a separate port. https://prnt.sc/1u4rwzp Enabled LSCache from WHM. https://prnt.sc/1u4rz9r The LSCache plugin installed in the WordPress site with error message. https://prnt.sc/1u4sc15 Warning Message: LSCache caching functions on this page are currently unavailable! Shows LSCache is not supported https://check.lscache.io/?host=www.torontoseniorservice.com Toolbox > Report Report number: NCUMJDLG Report date: 09/29/2021 20:01:57 I hope this is something dumb that Ive done and you can help? Thank you! Dou The page I need help with: https://www.torontoseniorservice.com/ Hi, you need to make LSWS as main webserver to make this work Best regards, Can you please provide more details to your reply? What do you mean by main webserver ? LS is running and Apache is running. Apache port offset is 2000. LiteSpeed will be running in parallel with Apache. LiteSpeed is running (PID = 15352, Apache_Port_Offset = 2000). Apache is running (PID = 206119). Hi, yes , from the info you provided port offset 2000 this means , Apache is running at port 80/443 , as main webserver, while LSWS running at 2080/2443 ,this is secondary server you need to switch to LiteSpeed first Best regards, Hi, How can I run LiteSpeed in parallel with Apache, where LiteSpeed is first? Thank you for your help. Hi, you can edit the apache conf file , make Apache to bind to port inferior than 80/443 , like make it to 79/442 , and then set port offset to 1 this way , apache will be running on 79/442 and LSWS on 80/443 , but this is kind of pointless thing to do the parallel mode was only for initial test , if everything works , you should switch to LSWS as main webserver and shutdown Apache Best regards, Where does it say parallel mode is only for initial testing? How can I test if parallel mode doesnt work on my sites unless I make manual changes to Apache server as you suggest? What is the point of the port switching plug-in in WHM if it doesnt allow me to test. I switched all sites to LiteSpeed and they all did not work. I wouldnt want to repeat that again. How can I get a ticket open at LiteSpeed to help resolve this issue? Hi, the parallel mode itself does allow you to run test , but wordpress doesnt allow this when you access the site by https://www.domain.com:2443 , as LSWS runs at 2443 port , then wordpress will make the redirection to https://www.domain.com/ , so its literally you can not test its just like WP wants to stick on port 443 , instead of go to any other port thats why I said you can not test this unless you set LSWS as main webserver. its the restriction from WP , not from WHM plugin you can open a ticket at LiteSpeed by mail to support at litespeedtech.com , but it will probably be the same answer you will get from me
