Wordpress LScache Plugin: LCP problem when generating Webp format on AMP
Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02 Hey, I hope you doing good. When decoding images from .jpg, .png to .webp the plugin is taking more than 5 sec, contributing to Largest Contentful Paint. I have enabled separate cache for mobiles. Also, this (https://prnt.sc/su8arf) is the image that explains the activity of fetching image, converting it and placing it on amp version. Is the problem because of LS or AMPforWP? Tested via Pagespeedinsights.
