Wordpress LScache Plugin: It reloads itself?!!!
Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02 It is like a nightmare! It slowed my website and cant delete it permanently. I delete it and one day later it is there again and activated? Yes i have another cache plug-in, i deleted the old .htaccess file (and backups). It is like spam.. Please help me to remove it permanently. Hi @oltaci, sometimes LiteSpeed Cache Plugin is default installed by the hosting, may I know which hosting are you using? http://www.natro.com and yes it was loaded at the beginning. Hi, @oltaci Like Stanley said, its probably because your hosting provider automatically installs LiteSpeed Cache on all WordPress sites it hosts. If you do not want LSCache on your site, you have two options: Deactivate the plugin and leave it installed Deactivate the plugin, uninstall it and create a .litespeed_flag file in your WordPress root directory If you choose option #2 and are not comfortable doing it yourself, your hosting provider should be able to help you create the file. Please let us know if you continue to have problems after youve done one of these things. Theres more information about this on our blog. By the way, I am surprised that the plugin keeps installing when you already have another cache plugin installed. It is not supposed to behave that way. The mass installation tool should skip any sites that already have other cache plugins in use. If you are willing to help us figure out what is happening there, we would appreciate it. You can start by sending us your Report Number, found in WP Admin > LiteSpeed Cache > Report when the LSCache plugin is activated. Thanks!
