Wordpress LScache Plugin: Issue with posts date when LiteSpeed Cache is on
Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02 Hi. I noticed a strange behavior on my site when Litespeed Cache is enabled. Lets say I published a post 5 hours ago. On homepage you can see an information that its been published 5 hours ago, but when you actually open that post, it will show the wrong time ? for example Published 27 minutes ago . The issue goes away when I disable LiteSpeed Cache or Purge Everything (this way it works untill a new post is published). Heres what I mean on screenshots: Homepage: https://i.imgur.com/PdZ20PJ.jpg Actual post: https://i.imgur.com/UqeHAcl.jpg My site: XGP.pl (right now the cache is purged and everything seems to work fine, but tommorrow a new post will be published so youll be able to see the issue for yourself). Report number: CDZTDTZL Actually it is not working fine after purging everything ? only entirely disabling LiteSpeed Cache seems to fix the issue. You can see the issue for yourself right now. Hi, yeah , this is normal behavior lets say , you published something 5 hours ago , when you dont have cache in both home and post itself , it displays 5 hours ago but , lets imagine a case like this you published something right now , and you or somebody viewed that page , and is it cached at the moment you accessed , lets say , it would display 2 minutes ago , at this moment , since page is cached so no matter if its 1 hour or 2 or 10 hours later , it will still display 2 minutes and then lets say , 1 hours later , you or somebody viewed your homepage , it will display 1 hours ago , and this content is cached , so lets say 5 hours later , somebody else view these 2 pages again , it will display 2 minutes ago and 1 hours ago I dont really have any good solution to this if that timing is added by shortcode or widget , you can try make it ESI block Best regards,
