Wordpress LScache Plugin: Is there a way to delay JS but for specific time?

Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02
Howdy, the delay JS option gives great improvements in PSI scores. However there are situations where it would be nice to delay the scripts (all or some) not until user interaction, but by specific time. Is there a way to set this up in any way in the current version of the plugin? My use case: while on mobile the delay option holds the execution of the script responsible for opening the hamburger menu, so first click doesnt work (user interaction) and only second+ click works. It would be great to delay this specific script for eg. 1s, so it doesnt influence the PSI score and it loads before the user wants to click the menu. I know I can exclude that script totally, however Im using a page builder which joins all builder scripts into one ? so Id have to exclude the whole package, which Id like to avoid. Hi, unfortunately no but I will pass this as feature requests to our devs Best regards, It isnt supported in current version. Will take into consideration in future.
