Wordpress LScache Plugin: Is there a limit on image size for image compression?

Does the image compression part of lsCache have a limit on how large an image it can compress? Will it struggle with images over 5MB etc? The only possible issue you may encounter is that , if network performance is not favorable it could trigger timeout when transfer images. Best regards,
