Wordpress LScache Plugin: Instant Click wp-admin dashboard not displaying properly first load
Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02 Just done a fresh install of OpenLiteSpeed for WordPress and default plugin settings, except when Instant Click is enabled, first load of wp-admin dashboard page is messed up in terms of styling. Press reload/F5 and it loads fine Is there anything I can do to get this to load properly? My editors will be gobsmacked when they see the css problem. Thanks Hi @mburdett555, the instant click is an experimental feature for frontend (Please refer to this site for more details). It will affect all the button on Frontend including the wp-admin button. So you need to refresh or load /wp-admin directly to get proper rendering. Thanks Stanley. What is the best practice for mirgrating an Apache wordpress site over to OpenLiteSpeed? Ive: Installed a Openlitespeed droplet with DigitalOcean Wiped off all the bloatware plugins so only LS Cache is installed Installed updraftplus and restored my apache site onto OLS (inc plugins, database etc) Litespeed caching disappeared, so I uploaded it again from WordPress store download Activated the caching plugin, all default settings. Ninjatables no longer shows anything, nor does WP Bakery visual composer load, and custom css seems to have disappeared in places. Im wondering if I should just create the droplet and copy my data over manually including the database? Hi @mburdett555, you can try to migrate everything to your new instance first. After confirming all the plugin/editor is working properly, then try to install LiteSpeed Cache. These steps can make sure your site config correctly. If you still find anything went wrong with LiteSpeed Cache, please try to turn off and on all the advanced features one by one to find out which one has confliction.
