Wordpress LScache Plugin: Installing the LSMCD

Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02
Hello people, Im trying to configure the object cache (https://prnt.sc/u0786v) but for that I need to install LSMCD. Im following this article from you https://www.litespeedtech.com/support/wiki/doku.php/litespeed_wiki:lsmcd:installation. But I have a doubt ? In the part where it says that I must edit the file /usr/local/lsmcd/conf/node.conf and insert the IP to be linked, what exactly would that IP be? Would it be the IP of my hosting server? And where should I insert it in the file? Another question ? Where do I find the username and password (https://prnt.sc/u07e1t)? Another question ? my hosting server is Hostinger, and their operating system is Linux with LiteSpeed ??server. So, I must execute the Ubuntu commands (https://prnt.sc/u0692s), correct? Thank you! Hi, Are you using shared hosting ? then unfortunately this is mission impossible for you. to install these , root access is required and they dont give root access to hosting user. Best regards, @CacheCrawler I have access via prompt where I can type command, but I dont know if it is enough: https://prnt.sc/u0a94r Hi, Nope , thats normal user, not root user , you will need root privileges Best regards,
