Wordpress LScache Plugin: Infinite loading on Chrome Android 65.0.3325.109
Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02 Hello. After enabling Guest Mode on my website, the page reloads infinitely on Chrome Android 65.0.3325.109 and probably older versions. I connected the phone to my PC with debug mode enabled, and I can see its showing reload: yes on the console. Im also seeing some lines on the Litespeed Cache plugin guest.js that say: ).then( response => response.json() ).then( data => console.log(data) if ( data.hasOwnProperty( reload ) && data.reload == yes ) Setting data.reload to no on that js file solves the issue, but I dont think thats doing anything good. Also, Guest Optimizations wont work at all (CSS isnt rendering even if the UCSS file is being donwloaded) but thats a different issue. This does not happen on newer Chrome versions, but its a concern that the website wont load properly with browsers that havent been updated lately and the user wouldnt know why. Hi, unfortunately we do not have enough resources to cover the backward compatibility for all the Chrome versions best regards, Well, seems like the issue is not just on Chrome, but also affects older Safari browsers as well (previously reported on this thread) I guess that at least it could show a message to the user saying that the browser isnt compatible and they need to update. Or a warning on the panel (or the wiki) saying that it might break compatibility on older browsers. Hi, yes , good suggestion , will forward to the team to make it happen best regards,
