Wordpress LScache Plugin: Images and JS issues when a plugin is outdated
Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02 Hello, Im not 100% sure if this is an LS Cache issue, but I think it is. I got my website optimized quite well I think, its fast and had no issues until now. This morning I log in and I see that the images arent loading and JS also doesnt work (like the menu scrolling). I got to the admin panel to fix it, and I see an unrelated plugin is outdated. (It was mailpoet). I made a back up, updated mailpoet and checked the site again. This time its working perfectly fine. The images load, JS works. I had to change NOTHING in the LS Cache settings. (I checked on multiple browsers, devices and in private mode, just to make sure) But this doesnt solve my problem. I would love to know what could cause an issue with page not loading properly when an unrelated plugin isnt up to date? My guess is that the site said plugin outdated, lets not load it anymore . And gave up. I tried to reproduce the issue using WP Rollback plugin and purposely installing outdated version of MailPoet ? which did nothing. The issue didnt appear again. I dont want my website to have issues every time a plugin needs an update, and I dont want to enable auto-updates because that might cause more issues. If this is LC Cache issue, please help me. If its not ? please point me in the right direction so I can ask someone else or fix it myself. My report number is: OZBGCREP Thank you in advance. Best regards, Hey, the problem is, like I described, that I cant reproduce the issue. As soon as I updated that 3rd party plugin (mailpoet), the issue disappeared completely. I tried using a roll back plugin to use the old version of mailpoet, but that didnt bring the issue back. Hi, well ?
