Image optimization freezes after uploading a large number of images

Wordpress LScache Plugin: Image optimization freezes after uploading a large number of images

Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02
Often, when a large number of images (e.g. 100) are uploaded in a short time to WordPress editor, pulling images using cron stops working. Then I have to go to the optimization page and click Pull Images to get cron optimization working again. It would be nice to fix this so I dont have to manually check it. Maybe some mechanism that would detect a freeze of optimization and trigger it? Report number: LIJPTFKP Hi, Could you please make sure your cron is working properly ? and I would suggest to set up a real system cron job instead of using wp-cron to trigger it. Best regards, Yes, cron is working properly. I can see in the hosting logs that it fires up every minute. I have a system cron that runs wp-cron, this cron using PHP: php full/path/to/my/website/wp.cron.php And the automatic pull of optimized images works, but freezes in the situation I described above. Hi, what if you wait for 10 ,20 minutes ? how does it go ? and please try get a cron manager plugin , and see if there is any stalled or missed scheduled event Best regards, what if you wait for 10 ,20 minutes ? how does it go ? Its only pushing images using cron ? the amount of unfinished data increases up to 1200. It doest pulling any images. In the Cron Manager plugin, I can see that there is a litespeed_task_imgoptm_pull task and it is set every minute. @CacheCrawler Now automatic image pull doesnt work at all. I tried: ? Clean Up Unfinished Data ? Refresh Domain Key ? Check that all IP addresses are on Cloudflares whitelist ? Disable and enable the Auto Pull Cron option Automatic Request Cron works btw. But why Auto Pull Cron not? I have to manually click the Pull Images button to pull all images. Hi, Please create a ticket here , we will investigate it further Best regards, Im seeing a similar issue.. I think. I have opened a ticket: #508191
