Wordpress LScache Plugin: Image optimization doesnt work
Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02 Image optimization doesnt work perfectly. After completion of optimization the image size does not change and does not change to webp. For example in this image link address: https://animenewsplus.net/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/Protagonist2.png The image format is still png even though its set to change to webp even though Ive disabled the Original Image Optimization & Enable Delete Original Backup feature. That makes the score on pagespeed insights low even if you use AMP. _____ I also forgot to include this in the report, it looks like this litespeed cache doesnt fully work for AMP, because when the amp scans it doesnt work. But still it sometimes works and no I dont know why but mostly it works. For AMP its still a problem because it cant do a compatibility scan by AMP, but it doesnt have any effect on the site.
