Wordpress LScache Plugin: Image Issues/Permanently Altered CSS

Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02
After finishing my website I turned on some of the caching settings which messed up the design of my site. I turned it off and the site mostly returned to normal, but not all. In the theme theres an area for custom CSS that used to take priority over all other CSS, but now some of it does not override other stylesheets. I tried uninstalling the plugin but the problem remains. Adding !important does not work. Ive cleared caches, used different browsers, but the code has been altered. Also when the plugin is turned on, an image (the menu/home button ? the only image uploaded via the theme admin rather than via a page/media gallery etc), is a grey box. Inspection shows it to be something to do with Litespeed lazy load. This problem goes away when the plugin is deactivated. Any ideas how to repair these issues? Hi, the CSS, you mean even LSCWP disable it , it still breaks ? have you cleared browser cache ? and maybe your theme has some CSS cache as well , check on that for image, if you only disable lazyload , how does it go ? Best regards, Thanks for the response. Image is fixed, thanks! Though CSS problem remains. Ive cleared everything. The CSS has totally been reordered in terms of what takes priority. Even after uninstalling the plugin its still different. Console also shows: DevTools failed to load SourceMap: Could not load content for https://[site]/wp-content/litespeed/cssjs/forms.min.js.map: HTTP error: status code 404, net::ERR_HTTP_RESPONSE_CODE_FAILURE Reason: Image fixed Hi, the dev tool warning can be ignored https://docs.litespeedtech.com/lscache/lscwp/ts-optimize/#devtools-failed-to-load-sourcemap is that inline CSS ? or individual CSS file ? check HTTP response header, maybe you have something else cached it, like cloudflare cache or something Best regards,

LiteCache Rush: Speed comes from using less, not from doing it faster
