Wordpress LScache Plugin: How to disable cache-mobile = true
Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02 Hi Litespeed team. Thank you so much for providing us with such an intuitive and powerful caching plugin. I have tested my site on old devices (iPhone 5, Galaxy S2) some months ago and ? with Cache for Mobile enabled ? it gave me errors in the way it was displaying and some buttons not responding. I have recently received notice that this issue still exists and upon checking a Report, I see it is enabled while the option to disable it has been removed.b(I am positive that this is not a minification or combining issue as the problem still exists when these are disabled and tested thoroughly) Is there a way to disable it please? Thanks in advance Hi, What do you mean it has been removed ? are you on network or individual instance ? Best regards, Hi, thanks for your response My apologies for my late response. Yes, I changed from a single to multisite installation. And then, I saw that this option was not available anymore. However, since you mentioned, I checked for this option and found it on Network Plugins. But its still disabled on the network (and seems to be enabled on mysite.com Report- also, with no option to disable it.) https://prnt.sc/v3sp4p Regards, Ahmed Is there perhaps a way to disable it via .htaccess? Hi, No , disable in .htaccess wont work , PHP will override it later on. was that site the primarily main site ? or sub site of network? Best regards, Hi, It was primarily the main site yes, of which I converted to a multisite. I will still add more sites on a later stage based on the exact same setup as my current, thus the need for multisite. Does this mean I have no option to disable it altogether because of being in multisite? Thanks for your time, Ahmed Hi, hold on a second?. Do you see this in network plugin setting page ? Best regards, Hi, Yes, I do, and it has been disabled. However, the setting is not there within the primary site LSC settings. And it says cache-mobile = true in the Report in the primary settings toolbox Hi, Do you see mobile vary rule in .htaccess file ? Best regards, Hi, Is it this? ### marker MOBILE start ### RewriteCond % HTTP_USER_AGENT Mobile|Android|Silk/|Kindle|BlackBerry|Opera Mini|Opera Mobi [NC] RewriteRule . ? [E=Cache-Control:vary=ismobile] ### marker MOBILE end ### Hi, yeah ? please create a ticket here, we will investigate it further Best regards,
