Wordpress LScache Plugin: Google Fonts optimization

Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02
Hello, we switched to Litespeed from WP-Rocket due to server change. The plugin works great, but we miss some very nice WP-Rocket features. One of these is the managing of Google Fonts. The previous plugin that we used have a system that load a Google Fonts only some times. With LS we have a lot of requests. In our home page for example we use 3 Google Fonts, but this is the result: https://www.dropbox.com/s/xxznm00ac7jtwky/Screenshot%202020-03-16%2018.46.00.jpg Is it possible to do something? Obviously we cant remove Google Fonts from our pages. Thanks a lot. Another screenshot. Here you can see the amount of kilobytes downloaded before and now about Google Fonts for a page: https://www.dropbox.com/s/5k5hukwml133x6q/Screenshot%202020-03-16%2019.43.22.jpg Added to todo. Thanks. Will update here once done. Amazing! Thanks a lot. Why dont you use Google Fonts locally to avoid requests ? I already tried that solution, but Google Fonts server is really fast. More than our. As WP-Rocket did well, a good solution is to reduce the requests doing only one if the font is the same IMHO. Hey there, I appreciated a lot your recent fix to manage Gravatars by the cache. Great job! Can you tell me something about my request about Google Fonts manage? Take a look to last test on a page A lot of requests with the same font: https://www.dropbox.com/s/eb9crg87j56ue8i/Screenshot%202020-05-16%2011.52.49.jpg Thanks.

LiteCache Rush: Speed comes from using less, not from doing it faster
