Tried setting my nameservers for quic cloud at Godaddy. Tried calling them. Their support attempted. No go. I dont see anyway of doing it without host names which require IP addresses. I currently have custom nameservers pointing towards my host ? but that required I set host names. Please advise. The page I need help with: http://gardenerspath.com Hi, how did you set your NS to ns2.gardenerspath.com. ns1.gardenerspath.com. ? it should be same step to change them to jon.quicns.com kevin.quicns.com Best regards, Just as I said. With Host Names. Host Name: ns1.gardenerspath.com + Ip Address Host Name: ns2.gardenerspath.com + Ip Address After you set host names, THEN you can add the actual name servers. And this requires IP addresses. If you try to change nameservers without registering the host name, you get this message: There was a problem updating your nameservers. This nameserver is not registered. Please reach out to your DNS provider to fix this issue. have you checked this ? https://www.godaddy.com/help/change-nameservers-for-my-domains-664 and if it requires IP you can sue jon.quicns.com - 64.66.240.1 kevin.quicns.com - 64.66.241.1 Lol, yes Ive checked that. About 1000x. And called Godaddy support twice. It should work with those IPs though. Thank you. whats the situation now ? does it work with these IPs now ? Hi qtwrk, Getting this server working was driving me nuts?so I took a break (the site was working-so why not? If it saved me from a stroke). Anyhow, when I went to Godaddy tonight, it allowed me to enter the nameservers with no issue. Weird. Maybe upgrading to their premium DNS (that I was blackmailed into buying) took a bit of time to get through their system which is why it didnt let me (or the Godaddy rep) change it when I tried it the first time? well , I am not sure , Godaddy support might know better for what happened , from our side , nothing was changed.
