Wordpress LScache Plugin: File & Disk Usage Overload
Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02 Hi, I am having ongoing issues with LSC causing my File Usage and Disk Usage to max out. My situation is as follows. I am using crons in my Cpanel to update Woocommerce Products using WP All Import. Updates are daily, weekly and monthly and can contain a number of new products and images. I am using your Image Optimisation to send new images to your QUIC.cloud server and convert to WEBP images. What I am finding is that over the course of 2 or 3 days, my File Usage and Disk Usage get bigger an bigger, until eventually I run out of Disk Space. Considering the site only utilises 50% of the Disk Space, this is a huge jump. This morning there was 151204 files in my upload directory and this was growing by the minute, even after the cron had imported a small update which actually added no new products at all. So I Purged all and the issue immediately resolved itself and the Disk & File Usage returned to normal. Therefore I have narrowed the issue down to a specific product category being imported and if I am guessing correctly, Litespeed Cache is being overwhelmed by the amount data it needs to cache. What do I need to do or what settings do I need modify to give the cache more time to process these or perhaps exclude them all together? I am not a coder, though can add code to files if necessary and explained clearly, but hopefully this is just a simple setting in LSC. Thanks in advance. The page I need help with: http://www.patsmusic.com.au Hi, its due to combine external and inline CSS/JS you can disable it for the time being , this issue will be addressed in next version Best regards, Thanks so much, I will try this right away. Hey qtwrk, This seems to have worked, thank you very much. Please may I also ask, what would be the best Product Update Interval setting under the Cache > Woocommerce tab in my case? Cheers Hi, personally Id use the Purge product on changes to the quantity or stock status. Purge categories only when stock status changes. Best regards,
