Wordpress LScache Plugin: Error 404 on my website but only on certains pages ! HELP !
Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02 Hello ! I have a problem with the plugin which puts a 404 error, but only on certain pages. My website is a WordPress, builded with Elementor Pro. I have installed LiteSpeed Cache, and turn on some options. Its all good, except for a post type, and I dont know why. This is the report number : XXRMRMMF send 04/22/2021 13:54:53 Looks like CSS (and maybe JS) is not loading. And with the Mozilla Debug console, I see that I have an Error: request failed with status 404 problem. I use the conditional display models with Elementor (I created a template to display the posts in the Podcast category, which are the problematic ones), the strangest thing is that if I change the category of the post, everything is displayed very well ! I tried to create a new template thinking it came from that, but the problem is still the same. All the rest of my site, my categories etc. works fine, only the Podcast category has a display problem and I dont know where it can come from, or even how to fix the problem. Ive done all the test : its a LiteSpeed problem, its not a Cache problem so maybe an optimization problem. Here is a Podcast page which is not displayed correctly: https://www.cocottes-magazine.fr/jai-eu-une-fracture-du-coccyx-post-accouchement/ Does anyone have a suggestion? A solution ? Thank you in advance ! J?r?my This topic was modified 1 year, 7 months ago by jeremyjgh. The page I need help with: https://www.cocottes-magazine.fr/jai-eu-une-fracture-du-coccyx-post-accouchement/ Hi, I see that I have an Error: request failed with status 404 problem. which requests you see 404 ? and if possible , please do me a screenshot of what you saw Best regards, Hi sir, This is the error (sometime got one of them, sometime both of them like now) : https://zupimages.net/viewer.php?id=21/16/3v6l.png Thanks. Hi, these 404 are normal more detail here https://docs.litespeedtech.com/lscache/lscwp/ts-optimize/#devtools-failed-to-load-sourcemap Best regards, So for you its normal if my website (this page in this case) does not display normally and has a display bug ? Sorry but we can clearly see the difference between the page https://www.cocottes-magazine.fr/jai-eu-une-fracture-du-coccyx-post-accouchement/ and the page https: //www.cocottes- magazine.fr/interview-maman-celebre-dagathe-lecaron-presentatrice-des-maternelles/ On the first page, we dont have the WPbot displayed correctly, it is displayed at the very bottom of the page, after the footer. While on the other, everything is displayed correctly and there is nothing under the footer (which is supposed to be normal by the way) You are not going to tell me that this is normal whereas if I deactivate LiteSpeed ??Cache, the page is displayed correctly without any display bugs! Hi, the message from your screenshot , is normal and ignorable. your issue is coming from something else but not from that message I hope this way makes more sense to you. please try disable all the JS optimization options first, see how it goes we will need to narrow down which options causes it , and then deal it Best regards, Hey ! Thanks for the explanation, I understand much more now Ive disable all JS optimization, and my problem is still here. Maybe another idea : in this category (and only this one), we have a audio player on the page (audioblog arte vlog), maybe this player may conflict with something ? Thanks for your response ! Jeremy Hi, in that case, please try export your current setting , then reset to default setting first, and see how it goes. Best regards, Hey sir, I have mayde some test. The problem only appear when I enable CSS Combine . I think ill disable this option for the moment. Any idea why this option doing this ? Thanks a lot for your help J?r?my Hi, in that case you may need to exclude certain CSS files from being combined https://docs.litespeedtech.com/lscache/lscwp/ts-optimize/#finding-conflicts Best regards,
