ESI + Business Hours Widget

Wordpress LScache Plugin: ESI + Business Hours Widget

Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02
Hello, I am using the LiteSpeed Cache plugin with the Business Hours Indicator plugin. I have ESI enabled in LS settings and, as per the LS documentation, have set the BHI widget settings as follows: Enable ESI: Public Widget Cache TTL: 0 This is because this widget shows real-time hours of operation and I do not want it cached ever. When these settings are applied, the widget disappears entirely and does not display. If, however, I disable ESI on the widget, the widget reappears, but is, of course, displaying a cached version which is out of date. Please advise. Thank you in advance for your help with this! Hi, How did you insert it ? on my test , it gave me a shortcode [mbhi location=your location name ] in this case, I did [esi mbhi location=your location name ttl=0 ] and it works. Best regards, Hey @CacheCrawler, Thanks for the response. I was not using the shortcodes I was using the actual widgets provided by the plugin and the built-in LS widget settings: 1. [BHI] Show only when open and 2. [BHI] Show only when closed Also, in respect to the shortcodes, the one you highlighted above works as intended however, the following shortcode does not: [mbhi_ifopen location=your location name ] Your content... [/mbhi_ifopen] For example, if you use the following: [esi mbhi_ifopen location=your location name ttl=0 ] Your content... [/mbhi_ifopen] ? it does not work. Please advise. Thanks in advance! Hi, OK , I have reproduced the issue on widget , will investigate it further. for shortcode , because it doesnt support format in [esi xxx][/xxx] , but only [esi xxx] Best regards, Hi @CacheCrawler, Thank you for the prompt response. Is there anyway at all to get it to work with the [esi xxx][/xxx] shortcode format? Hi, Sadly no for now , but we will check on that ESI widget missing issue first. Best regards, Hello, Any news here? I have the sam issue. Any news ? Hey @caban13, I never heard back from them on this. @CacheCrawler, is there any news regarding this added functionality?
