Wordpress LScache Plugin: ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS unless I clear all cache
Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02 I have been experiencing this strange issue with my site for the past couple of days. In the morning when I try to open the page from an incognito session, I get an ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS error (Chrome). When I try to access any other page, I get a 404. I then log in to my wp-admin and clear all caches. After that, the page returns to almost full functionality. I say almost because although the page then loads, it redirects to one with url parameters like Googles utm_source etc. despite the fact that I am only visiting the page url without any url parameters whatsoever. I just now configured the Scheduled Purge URLs to the wildcard of . I then set the Scheduled Purge Time to 8:00 AM. Other than the TTL for Default Publich Cache and for Default Front Page, both of which I set to 86400 (1 day), should I perform any other changes to the settings in order to feel confident that the next morning I will not experience the same issue again? I will be also checking for any redirection configuration from some other plugin. Please advise. Thank you. This topic was modified 2 months, 1 week ago by Konstatninos. may I know whats the redirection URL from and to ? Hi, thanks for assisting me with this. The source url was this: thepearls.gr The normal destination is this: thepearls.gr/el The URL that was loading instead was this: https://thepearls.gr/el/?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=cpm&utm_campaign=L4_PROSP_CBO_VIDEO%20LINK%20POST_MYKONOS_GENERIC_CONVERSIONS_29.09.21&utm_content=VIDEO%20LINK%20POST_MYKONOS_GENERIC&utm_term=6294181971070%20Facebook_Mobile_Feed&fbclid=IwAR1ssKvFrN4E_12UIja3fh1vVBLEU7OJnBeAJWTMa0vthrtq7frrZ_3SaX0 I am referring to the incident in the past tense as after yesterdays configuration as described in my OP, today I did not experience the same issue again. But if you need to perform any additional checks, by all means please do. Especially if that might yield any useful results that might protect us from experiencing anything similar moving forward, like something caused by a different setting that we might have overlooked. Thanks. there were another 2 users got similar redirection issue with utm query string , but since it can not be reliably reproduced , we couldnt really investigate on it does it always happen on you ? or just randomly ? and please try grab the full response header on each request, that will at least tell us if its from wordpress, or from webserver It used to happen every morning, upon loading the home page. After the settings I have described previously it has not returned. I have watched this every morning after applying said changes. Please allow me this week also to check back every morning, and if it happens I will post full headers of the request for your further investigation. Otherwise I reckon we could mark this as solved until it re-occurs? What do you think? Thanks. Hi, sure, please keep me posted
