Wordpress LScache Plugin: Does webp optimization too agresssive?

During optimization, I found the compression rate for many images is up to 80%. The image optimization compresses a 584KB PNG image to only 35KB, 757KB to 50KB and 116KB to 9KB. The compression rate for .jpg is smaler. But some original images are only 18KB and not clear enough, it compresses them to 6KB.
