Wordpress LScache Plugin: Displaying media gallery taking long time and some images not optimising
Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02 I notice from my list of media that some images (not previously compressed) are not being optimised. The image optimisation screen says that optimisation is complete. How can I optimise these images only? I have no option to send or pull, and the optimisation is being done by cron. Secondly, when I click to show the media list so I can see which havent been optimised, my site almost times out. I do have a lot of images. Hi, Could you please check if there is any image requested or wait for pull back ? are those images uploaded in media page or other means(as 3rd party plugin) ? For that long time issue , may I know how many images there is ? Best regards, No images waiting for pull back, and images uploaded via standard wordpress method. Its frustrating because theres maybe only 20 or so images that havent been optimised. I suspect its this bug/issue with WP-hide. I have to disable this plugin so that litespeed image optimisation works, then enable it again afterwards. I just wish there were a way to tag the 20 that werent done so I could do them only. The long time issue,I have a lot of images, 4,494 in total. Hi, Could you please install this plugin , and then access the media page ? query monitor might reveal some under hook actions for why it takes so long. Best regards, I will do, it has improved recently, but occasionally theres a very long delay. Any ideas on how to optimise these few images that havent been done? Or how to get wp-hide and the optimiser to work together? The only way to optimise images that havent been done is Clean Up Unfinished Data and re-send again. For the wp-hide issue, we will test on it and try to make it compatible in a future version. Hi Stanley Ive tried clean up finished, but how do you send again ? My optimiser just reports all are done, until I add new media, then it only optimises those and not the ones that arent optimised. Would be so much easier just to put a tick against ones that havent been done and choose optimise from the media drop down. As it is, there doesnt seem to be any way at all to optimise the ones left behind. Well, not without undoing optimisation and starting the whole site again (have thousands of images).
