Wordpress LScache Plugin: Deleting and updating issues in BuddyPress.
Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02 Hi there, choosing Cache Mobile in cache control settings really speed things up, but unfortunately this is also causing deleting and updating issues in BuddyPress and other dynamic content. The thing is that settings maybe are updated, but looks like they are not, eg. deleted messages and profile update still shows on page and like its not updated.. Is there any settings to make this work? Serve Stale off Auto Purge Rules For Publish/Update set to all pages. I hope a solution can be found, thanks. Besides, whats the point in using cache, if I have to exclude the main content of my site? Regards Like it is possible to exclude urls and user roles, would it be possible to exclude BuddyPress edit, update and delete actions from being cached, this would solve the problem? Best regards, Hi there, thank you for doing the effort to improve this. From what I can see, its not only BP content, but all kind of dynamic contents like blog post which suffers this problem. I know that the real problem is running BuddyPress on a shared server environment, so even with APC and object cache installed, you cant take full advantage of this, and could instead result in a negative performance impact. Due to the dynamic nature of BuddyPress, page caching would cause content to go stale, defeating one of the core purposes of BuddyPress ? live interaction between users. https://www.buddyboss.com/tutorials/caching-buddypress/ But before choosing an expensive VPS it would be nice to know, if an performance wise, acceptable cache solution on a shared server is possible.
