Hi, Its like preparing and pre-solveing DNS record before user actually access to that site. For example , https://my-website.com has a link to https://your-website.com, so I can put your-website.com into DNS prefetch, so when people access https://my-website.com , its already solved DNS record to your-website.com to save DNS resolving time when it access to your-website.com Reference: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTTP/Headers/X-DNS-Prefetch-Control Best regards sorry i didnt want to bump a month old topic. so if my domain was http://www.example.com should i put example.com in the dns prefetch? or is should i add both http://www.example.com and example.com? @CacheCrawler cheers Hi, depends how your DNS set up , but generally these 2 domains are treated as 2 different/separated domain , so yes, better add them both. does it have to have // before each domain listed? cheers Hi, Yes, please make URL starts with // Best regards thank you!
