Wordpress LScache Plugin: Crawler stopped working
Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02 Hi there, When I installed the LiteSpeed cache plugin, I asked my hosting provider to enable the crawler for me and they enabled it and it started working as expected. But today I noticed the warning message appears in the panel again saying the crawler is not activated for my account. I asked them to check my configs and they said they have not changed anything everything is like before. So how can I understand what is wrong with that? Report no: GOVWIPEP Regards, This topic was modified 3 years, 11 months ago by moemauphie. Hi, Could you please screenshot me the warning message? Best regards, Hi, Thanks for your reply, Here it is: https://cdn.pbrd.co/images/HTwNKxi.png Hi, That messages indicates the crawler directives in server are removed/disabled. Please double check with your provider , because in some case, like cPanel apache conf file rebuild , it will regenerate the configuration file without crawler directives. Best regards, Thanks for your reply, They said they have configured it as explained in the instruction. Please find the attached. https://cdn.pbrd.co/images/HTEpJrT.png https://cdn.pbrd.co/images/HTEpXll.png Regards, Hi, Could you please try create an new, individual WP and see if crawler works there ? I am not expert on cPanel, but as far as I know, in your screenshot , the path is: /etc/apache2/conf.d/userdata/std/2_4 , see the std in second position from last ? this only applies to HTTP, you will need another one in /etc/apache2/conf.d/userdata/ssl/2_4/ In wiki, section Individual virtual host level , you will see it requires on both place for http and https Best regards, Solved. Thank you very much for your great support. Hi, Would you like to share how did you solve it ? others may run into same problem and search into this post Best regards, Hi, Actually I sent your previous reply to the server admin and I suppose they solved the problem using that. Regards, Hi, Glad to know I will mark this post as resolved. Please open a new post if you have any further questions. Best regards, Much obliged.
