Wordpress LScache Plugin: Connection refused error_log
Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02 Hello, In cPanel, checking the websites home directory, I found a file error_log filled with stuff like this: [19-May-2020 18:33:14 UTC] Connection refused [19-May-2020 18:35:15 UTC] Connection refused [19-May-2020 18:37:16 UTC] Connection refused [19-May-2020 18:38:15 UTC] Connection refused After contacting hosting providers tech. support, they said it must be a WordPress plugin problem. So I disabled all the plugins for a test ? and when enabling LiteSpeed cache ? the error occurs. When all the other plugins are enabled, there are no more new lines added to the error_log. So I suspect something to be related to PHP, and LiteSpeed plugin. PHP used is 7.3. Any idea how to fix this? EDIT/UPDATE: Object cache seems to be causing the problem. Redis is enabled in PHP (and the plugin recognizes that), but it shows connection error. This is the printscreen: https://i.ibb.co/BcPBvQB/litespeed-problem.jpg The page I need help with: https://bike.bikegremlin.com Turns out it was server related. Nothing to do with the plugin. Hi @bikegremlin do you know what specifically was wrong with the server? Im experiencing the same issue now. Thanks. Yes ? Redis service needed to be restarted. My full report.
LiteCache Rush: Speed comes from using less, not from doing it faster
