Wordpress LScache Plugin: Comment form automatically load name and email from previous user
Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02 Hey, I have a weird problem which is possibly caused by Litespeed Cache. Let me explain the situation. Ive discovered that when user is starting to add a new comment for individual post, the comment form autofill name and email from previous user who has recently posted new comment in any other post. I know that this property is available only for same user where comment form only autofill details if the same user have already posted something to website. The issue was discovered first time in sites forum section. This site uses bbPress. I have excluded forum from being cached and any other css/js optimization is excluded for URI containing keskustelualue as well. After excluding these URIs, the problem wasnt no more in forum section. But now its still appearing in comment form for posts. What could cause this and what should I do to prevent it? Few minutes ago I enabled ESI comment form cache but dont know for sure whether it could fix this issue. When I purge all cache and clean database, comment form will be empty and no any autofilled user information isnt there. The page I need help with: https://www.lainakeskustelu.fi Update: Disabled ESI for comments because it made some errors and I saw them on debug mode. If user answer to some topic in forum (again, forum is build with bbPress) then name and email address are autofilled in comment form for posts. Excluding forum section (/keskustelualue/) from css/js optimization and cache will prevent this bug to happen on forums reply and new topic forms. [ Please do not bump. ] Hi, @thatfinnishdude Im not sure I understand your update. Heres what I think you are saying: When you exclude the forum section from optimization and from the cache, you no longer have the wrong user information appearing in the forum reply or in the forums new topic form. Correct? Are you still seeing it happen in the comments, though? If so, maybe we can see something in your settings that will explain the issue. Please share your Environment Report: Navigate to LiteSpeed Cache > Report, press the Send to LiteSpeed button, make note of the Report Number , and post the number here so we can look it up. Thanks, and apologies for the delay! Hi, @thatfinnishdude Im going to mark this topic as resolved, due to a lack of activity. If you still have a problem you would like us to help you with, please reply at your convenience and well be happy to re-open the case.
