Wordpress LScache Plugin: Cloudflare cookies?

Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02
Hi. I noticed that a privacy browser extension I use detects Cloudflare cookies when I navigate to this plugins settings which the extension blocks automatically. Why do these cookies load within the plugin? Hi @politicske, Cloudflare will add some cookies to every request which goes through it, they use it to maximize their products potential. Ref ? https://support.cloudflare.com/hc/en-us/articles/200170156-Understanding-the-Cloudflare-Cookies Hence, it will load on every page, including within the Litespeed Cache Settings. But I have not activated Cloudflare CDN at all. The plugin just loads the cookies automatically on the settings page. That is strange, Do you know which cookie it is? Based on my local tests, All lscache sets is the _lscache_vary cookie. If you can find out the cookie name value, that would be helpful. Not sure how to do that. Do you use chrome? Install privacy badge extension, then go to LS settings page and see if it flashes cdnjs.cloudflare.com. Hi @politicske, have you turn ON LiteSpeed Cache > Setting > CDN > Load JQuery Remotely? Loading JQuery remote will inject the JQuery script from Cloudflare CDN which they might add a cookie on your site. No, I havent. The setting is off. Even when I activated it in the past, I used the google option (the plugin was messing my customiser so I reset the settings). Hi @politicske , I located the issue coming from here ? https://github.com/litespeedtech/lscache_wp/blob/1de3909871e894dbd4da3e2f47c9b495d2b7b9bd/litespeed-cache/admin/tpl/setting/settings_crawler.php#L164 We use the Vue JS to Render the Crawling Form, and that JS is what setting the cookie. In the upcoming versions(v3.0) we will localize the files and this should be solved. Aha. Good to know. Thanks for investigating the issue. I will report back after the update. The fix is in https://github.com/litespeedtech/lscache_wp/commit/c0b2641a460c75fc7ee15d4750c47bf2edaa13ec Thanks again for your feedback. I am guessing this was fixed in the last update?
