Wordpress LScache Plugin: Clearing the entire cache after publishing a new article from version 3.6.4
Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02 Up to version 3.5.2. when I had the following Auto Purge Rules For Publish/Update options checked: ? Front page ? Home page ? Author archive ? Post type archive ? Yearly archive ? Monthly archive ? Daily archive ? Term archive in case of publishing a new post, the cache of the home page, front page, category, archive and previous first post was cleared. Everything was fine. In the latest version ? 3.6.4 ? after publishing a new post, all posts are cleared with these above settings ? the entire cache is cleared. After going back to 3.5.2 everything is fine, so this is a problem with the new plugin version. I checked ? the problem concerns various websites. Hello @everet Our latest version is v4.1 right now. Could you please give it a try? Just see if the issue got resolved. If not then well look into that. Regards, Abe Hello @usabe Ive checked ? the problem in version 4.1 also occurs ? with these settings all posts are cleared from the cache after updating the post or after publishing a new post. This issue does not occur in version 3.5.2. Regards Everet Hi, please follow this guide to obtain the page tag and purge tag, then we will see what is causing it Best regards, Hi @CacheCrawler, @usabe, Ive already registered in the log clearing the entire cache after updating one post. What information from the log should I include here? I would not like to post the entire log with the website address, posts or IP Regards Everet Hi, you can mass-replace the IP , domain , and any other sensitive information the part I interested the most should contain the word like x-litespeed-tag and x-litespeed-purge Best regards, Hi @CacheCrawler, X-LiteSpeed-Tag: fe7_tag_priv,public:fe7_HTTP.404,public:fe7_404,public:fe7_URL.75e6db51f15a8d8c55153c0a8750f1f7,public:fe7_ X-LiteSpeed-Purge: public,fe7_Po.528,fe7_URL.1c73f7d934acb090af887d6b4456d76f,fe7_W.recent-posts-3,fe7_Po.394,fe7_T.2,fe7_FD,fe7_A.1,fe7_PT.post,fe7_post,fe7_F,fe7_H,fe7_D.20210701,fe7_D.202107,fe7_D.2021 X-LiteSpeed-Purge: public,fe7_Po.528,fe7_URL.1c73f7d934acb090af887d6b4456d76f,fe7_W.recent-posts-3,fe7_Po.394,fe7_T.2,fe7_FD,fe7_A.1,fe7_PT.post,fe7_post,fe7_F,fe7_H,fe7_D.20210701,fe7_D.202107,fe7_D.2021,fe7_REST X-LiteSpeed-Purge: public,stale,fe7_Po.528,fe7_URL.1c73f7d934acb090af887d6b4456d76f,fe7_W.recent-posts-3,fe7_Po.394,fe7_T.2,fe7_FD,fe7_A.1,fe7_PT.post,fe7_post,fe7_F,fe7_H,fe7_D.20210701,fe7_D.202107,fe7_D.2021,fe7_REST Regards Everet Hi, is above one come from v3.6 or v3.5 ? please grab the tags on both cases for comparison. Best regards, Hi @CacheCrawler These tags are from version 4.1. If I have time, I will replace the version with 3.5.2 and include tags from that version. Generally, with the same settings, everything is fine until version 3.5.2 ? the cache is not completely cleared after posting a new article or updating an article. Above version 3.5.2, the entire cache is cleared. And this applies to various websites, not only one. Regards Everet Hi, yeah ? its bit of weird , I am not aware of any purging mechanism has been changed during these updates however, a typical case for issue like this , is due to the recent post widget which I do see its tag in your list if you are using LiteSpeed Enterprise, please try enable ESI , and set recent post widget to ESI block , see if it helps Best regards, Hi @CacheCrawler We do not use recent post widget in this website. There are no widgets at all in this website. We have nearly 20 WordPress websites, with different themes, but in all of them is the same issue. We use normal plugin, not Enterprise. The option All pages with Recent Posts Widget was and is everywhere unchecked. Weve gone back everywhere to 3.5.2 version and its ok. Maybe there is a problem at the interface between plugin and hosting? Regards Everet Hi, please create a ticket by mail to support at litespeedtech.com we will investigate it further Best regards, Hi @CacheCrawler, @usabe We have verified the problem ? the checked Post type archive option triggers the cleaning of all posts in plugins versions higher than 3.5.2. Up to version 3.5.2, this problem does not occur. Regards Everet
