Wordpress LScache Plugin: Cant Assign Vary Group to More than One Role
Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02 Hello, In this example, Id like the [Author] role to receive the same cache as the [Editor] role. Under the [Vary Group] settings in the [ESI] tab, I specify the number 10 for the Author and Editor role. What should happen when I click Save is both fields for those roles say 10. What actually happens is only the Author role displays 10, the Editor role reverts back to 0. This happens for other roles as well. I cannot specify the same vary group that is different than 0 for more than role. So basically I have to specify a different number for the Editor role, and that works (Although it is inefficient). My report ID is EXVNLDGE. Let me know if you need more info, and thank you! Jake Hi, I have managed to get this one reproduced as well. Will check with devs. Best regards, Thank you very much! Hi, After checked with developers. This will be fixed in v 3.0 At this moment I do not have exact ETA yet but it should be released in near future. Best regards, Hello! Just checking to see when 3.0 is expected to drop. Im excited to see this and other fixes! Thanks! Jake Hi @CacheCrawler, hi @stanleylitespeed, is there an estimate on the release date for 3.0? There are a few fixes like this that Im really looking forward to. Thanks in advance! Hi, Actually this issue is already solved in current version. Please upgrade to latest and it should work Best regards, Hello @CacheCrawler, thanks for the response. I have tried, and the value still reverts back as I described in my original post. Im using the latest version, 2.9.8.7. I went ahead and generated another report if that helps: HVVHRNUB. Hi, Please submit a ticket here, we will investigate it further. Best regards, Will do, thank you!
