Wordpress LScache Plugin: Cache loads wepb in firefox
Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02 Hi, i got the same problem as this guy: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/litespeed-cache-load-webp-for-firefox/ I allready checked if there is the wepb section in the htaccess. (it is) I disabled LS cache plugin and did some empty entire cache . I deleted the wepb section from htaccess and let LS-Plugin recreate it. Problem ist still there. Webp-files are in the system and are loaded when cache is created by Chrome. When Firefox creates the cache, normal jpgs are loaded in Chrome as well. So I dont know further. Any hint is appreciated. Report number: VZUZYRRY Hi, Do you still have issue about it ? I accessed a page with FF first and let it generate cache , it shows jpg/png, and then access same page with Chrome it shows webp and vice versa, Chrome first shows webp and then FF shows jpg/png Best regards, Oh sorry, i didnt think you would check on a weekend. I tried to serv the webp files with ewww image optimizer plugin (alternative rewriting) This works pretty good, but breaks the layout of the revolution slider. However: Now I deactivated ewww and put LS back in place with webp enabled. The website runs on OpenLiteSpeed 1.4.42 and Cyberpanel 1.7.6 Everything runs on an Azure VM. I also migrated another website to this server yesterday and there I got exactly the same problem. Hi, Please submit a ticket here. Best regards
