Wordpress LScache Plugin: Cache is not clearing when a post is published
Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02 Hi, I believe since updating WordPress to 6.0 the auto purge cache stopped working and our scheduled posts are not showing in the website unless I clear the cache manually. No changes on the plugin settings were made for a long time, everything was working as should that is why I believe that WordPress version 6.0 is the issue as this is the only new update which weve made for the past 5-6 months. Is there something we can try to fix this? The page I need help with: https://trendynews.bg/ please provide the report number you can get it in toolbox -> report -> click send to LiteSpeed Report number: LKAAUGSC Report date: 06/04/2022 06:06:42 how exactly did you trigger the cron ? also please try with object cache off , see how it goes Could you please advise what do you mean how exactly did you trigger the cron? You mean how if we have set custom cronjobs on the server or if we use the default wordpress provides? If that is the question we do not have custom cronjobs in place. And as mentioned on the start no changes are made on the website and the server since the very beginning. Weve turned off the object cache and weve noticed that the post appears on the categories but the homepage cache is not cleared. there are 2 ways to trigger the cron one is use php command line , like php /xxxx/wp-cron.php , another one is to use wget/curl , e.g. wget -q O - https://domain.com/wp-cron.php?doing_wp_cron due to the way how LScache engine works , when cron is triggered by PHP CLI , the purge is delayed , when triggered by wget or curl it should happens right away you can enable debug log , then check on log file /wp-content/debug.purge.log , see what is the purge call it generated when schedule post published Hi it shows like this Query String: doing_wp_cron= purging the cache. However it is not clearing for some reason the cache on the home page and in the categories. whats the purge tag it generated by doing_wp_cron ? is it same cron that do you post ? I am not sure what you mean so I will post the whole thing in here related to that post Ive tested yesterday. ------POST HTTP/1.1 (HTTPS) /wp-cron.php Query String: doing_wp_cron=1655119800.5584199428558349609375 HTTP_REFERER: https://trendynews.bg/wp-cron.php?doing_wp_cron=1655119800.5584199428558349609375 LSCACHE_VARY_COOKIE: ,wp-postpass_6cd17f0c4d406e751f1904e66fe8faa1 X-LiteSpeed-Purge: public,fbc_Po.206195,fbc_URL./news/2022/06/13/%d0%bf%d1%80%d0%be%d0%b2%d0%b5%d1%80%d0%ba%d0%b0-%d0%bd%d0%b0-%d0%bd%d0%be%d0%b2%d0%b8%d0%bd%d0%b0/,fbc_W.recent-posts-2,fbc_Po.206157,fbc_T.16518,fbc_T.157,fbc_T.185,fbc_FD,fbc_A.43,fbc_PT.post,fbc_post,fbc_F,fbc_H,fbc_PGS,fbc_PGSRP,fbc_D.202206,fbc_REST => LiteSpeed LSC->send_headers()@560 => WP_Hook->apply_filters(,ARRAY)@307 => WP_Hook->do_action(ARRAY)@331 => /home/trendynews.bg/public_html/wp-includes/load.php@476 I am not sure what you mean so I will post the whole thing in here related to that post Ive tested yesterday. ------POST HTTP/1.1 (HTTPS) /wp-cron.php Query String: doing_wp_cron=1655119800.5584199428558349609375 HTTP_REFERER: https://trendynews.bg/wp-cron.php?doing_wp_cron=1655119800.5584199428558349609375 LSCACHE_VARY_COOKIE: ,wp-postpass_6cd17f0c4d406e751f1904e66fe8faa1 X-LiteSpeed-Purge: public,fbc_Po.206195,fbc_URL./news/2022/06/13/%d0%bf%d1%80%d0%be%d0%b2%d0%b5%d1%80%d0%ba%d0%b0-%d0%bd%d0%b0-%d0%bd%d0%be%d0%b2%d0%b8%d0%bd%d0%b0/,fbc_W.recent-posts-2,fbc_Po.206157,fbc_T.16518,fbc_T.157,fbc_T.185,fbc_FD,fbc_A.43,fbc_PT.post,fbc_post,fbc_F,fbc_H,fbc_PGS,fbc_PGSRP,fbc_D.202206,fbc_REST => LiteSpeed LSC->send_headers()@560 => WP_Hook->apply_filters(,ARRAY)@307 => WP_Hook->do_action(ARRAY)@331 => /home/trendynews.bg/public_html/wp-includes/load.php@476 Just saying this again when I publish a post without being scheduled the cache is purged when the post is scheduled and published in the time set it is not showing on the front page. I have the exact same issue. Scheduled posts do not trigger purge cache since the latest update. While purge is triggered immediatly after updating an old or directly publicing a new post, it wont work when a scheduled post is auto-published. Did you solve the issue somehow? Nope, the plugin support team as you can see just decided to stop responding. Tried in a few other places but no success. Ive switched from Litespeed to another solution. Same issue since few days. Very annoying when you auto publish content everyday.
