Wordpress LScache Plugin: Cache is currently unavailable

Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02
I use your plugin for quite some time now on several websites on the same host, today I get an error message from LScache on cache setting page where it states that cache is currently unavailable on this page, to use cache you must use a litespeed web server or QUIC.cloud CDN Which is odd since I do have a LiteSpeed web server and did not change a single thing on my hosting environment. Every setting looks set up correctly, nothing has changed since yesterday on my end. Note : I created a free QUIC.cloud account but that changes nothing. (I am currently not interested in using the CDN.) The page I need help with: http://exemple.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=lscache-settings#cache Hi, Could you please try disable and re-enable the plugin ? Best regards, thanks for your answer. I tried that unsuccessfully. Hi, Could you please provide the report number ? Side-bar menu ?> LiteSpeed Cache ?> Toolbox ?> [5] Report Best regards, Server Variables SERVER_SOFTWARE = Apache DOCUMENT_ROOT = exemple/ LSWCP_TAG_PREFIX = 491 WP_SITEURL = NULL WP_HOME = NULL WP_CONTENT_DIR = xxxxx/wp-content SHORTINIT = false LSCWP_CONTENT_DIR = xxxxx/wp-content LSCWP_CONTENT_FOLDER = wp-content LSCWP_DIR = xxxxx/wp-content/plugins/litespeed-cache/ LITESPEED_TIME_OFFSET = 0 LITESPEED_SERVER_TYPE = NONE LITESPEED_CLI = NULL LITESPEED_ALLOWED = NULL LITESPEED_ON = NULL LSWCP_TAG_PREFIX = 491 COOKIEHASH = ed88da1cb3eaf489fc4b5954c36cbe64Expand Note that the reports states Im on Apache but Im actually hosted by o2switch, a french host company that provides PHP Litespeed engine rendered compatible with apache configuration files. It might sound odd but LSCache used to work fine on it. Hi, Yes, I know , o2switch uses LiteSpeed ADC. This could be detection problem. Could you please add SetEnv LSWS_EDITION Openlitespeed SetEnv X-LSCACHE on into .htaccess disable and re-enable the plugin , and see how it goes ? Best regards, That did the trick. Thanks a lot.

LiteCache Rush: Speed comes from using less, not from doing it faster
