Cache Manager SHM?

Wordpress LScache Plugin: Cache Manager SHM?

Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02
Hi, I did not find this option in the plugin. I want to use the RAM to cache a meta-field value (post objects). How do I access and update it? Hi, what do you mean by meta-field value (post objects). ? Best regards, Sorry, meant wp_query stored in meta field and use for further filter/sort operations. Hi, I think you have some misunderstanding about LiteSpeed Cache , this is a page-cache plugin , not database plugin , and in case for object cache , the objects are stored in memory already , by Redis or Memcached. Best regards, I was referring to this article ? https://docs.litespeedtech.com/lscache/storage/#::text=Cache%20Manager%20SHM%3A%20Shared%20memory,if%20your%20physical%20server%20reboots. Hi, thats server-level configuration , you can not configure it on plugin-level and thats default to Memory already. that, is not cache files stored in memory , but more like file map information stored in RAM. Best regards, Ok. Thanks

LiteCache Rush: Speed comes from using less, not from doing it faster
