Wordpress LScache Plugin: CSS changes dont work in posts previews when LS Cache is enabled

Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02
Hi. Ive modified single.php (single posts pages) pretty heavily with CSS. It all works great, but CSS changes dont show up in posts previews when LiteSpeed Cache is enabled. When the post is published, everything works great. Is there any way to fix it? Report number: YUSMLSND Quick example: Widget in single post preview when LS Cache is enabled: https://i.imgur.com/gAsfWx0.jpg Widget in single post preview when LS Cache is disabled: https://i.imgur.com/vFJoBMs.jpeg Thanks, Kacper It can be fixed by excluding roles out of optimalization in tuning tab, but its not ideal solution. I tried to exclude URLs, but it doesnt seem to work ? I tried exact match as well just the beginning of URL. Its not cache related, because excluding roles in Cache tab doesnt change anything. Of course I purge everything after making changes. ?it also seems like its not related to CSS options in LSCache. I disabled every single one and no change. Only disabling optimization for specific user roles does the trick. Hi, like its not related to CSS options in LSCache. I disabled every single one and no change. Only disabling optimization for specific user roles does the trick. did you try turn off CCSS ? you can try reset to default setting first, see how it goes if it works on default , then it means one of the options leads to this , just need to dig out which one was it Best regards, Yes, Ive tried disabling CCSS but I didnt help nor disabling every single option in JS tab. I also resetted settings to default but it also didnt help. Maybe there is a way to exclude just post preview pages from being optimized? Hi, I dont think preview page is cached at all ? please check by dev tool , to see what it shows in response header, and in request list, do you see any CSS files coming from /wp-content/litespeed/cssjs/ directory ? Best regards, Hi @CacheCrawler I just found out what option is causing the issue. Its Remove Query Strings ? when I disable it, everything works good. So is there any way to exclude post previews from this option? Hi, you can exclude the preview URL from being optimized on Page optm -> tuning setting -> URI exclude Best regards, I tried to add &preview=true but it doesnt work. Should I add something else? try use preview in Page Optimization -> Tuning setting -> URI exclude and please provide the new report number with your latest conf Sadly it doesnt work either Report number: YCLXLEFR Hi, then please enable debug log , see what it says when opening that page. Best regards, Hi, Im going to mark this topic Resolved , due to lack of activity. If you still need help, please feel free to re-open it. When re-open it, please also change the topic status to not solved Best regards,
