Wordpress LScache Plugin: CSS/JS optimization is OFF, but the table wp_litespeed_cssjs is still huge
Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02 Hello, Ive been testing LSCaches page optimization options (CSS/JS minify,?) in the recent past (couple of months ago). After a short while I decided to leave this job to Autoptimize and use LSCache only for caching. Today Ive noticed my wp_litespeed_cssjs table is more than 800 MB in size, which is way more than all other tables combined. I understand how this works, I have plenty of products in my store so this number sounds about right ? however, shouldnt the table be emptied after turning OFF the CSS/JS optimization settings in LSCache? I am not sure whether I can empty the table or not at this point. I have sent a report, this is the report number: NPTUZPHG Thank you very much. https://wordpress.org/support/topic/database-size-growing-exponentially/ That thread (and the link mentioned in that thread) explains why those records are being created in the database (thus increasing in size). As I said, I understand that. Once again, I am not using LSCaches CSS or JS optimization settings at all anymore, I just would like to know whether it is safe to empty that table or not, since I would expect it to be purged automatically after disabling those optimize settings. Hi, at current version , it does not clean up the table when you purge all please go to Database -> click Optimize Tables to clean it up Best regards, Worked perfectly. Ive also clicked the Clean CSS/JS Optimizer option. Thank you.
