CSS/JS minfy + cloudflare minify

Wordpress LScache Plugin: CSS/JS minfy + cloudflare minify

Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02
Till now litespeed has been lifesaver for me, everything is so easy. i am really excited with new added CSS/JS minify feature but i wanted to know what would be the best settings to use with cloudflare minfy options(rocketloader) i am bit confused with several options like should i enable minify and combine together or only minify. is there any tutorial that will help? The page I need help with: https://mastersaheb.com On our websites, I did the following: Activated minification and Rocket Loader in Cloudflare. Activated CSS/JS push from LiteSpeed Cache plugin in WordPress. For the combine CSS/JS option, you have to test with your theme but I dont think its really recommended because you have Cloudflares HTTP/2 running with Server Push? Anyway, I wouldnt recommend to enable both minification options from Cloudflare and LiteSpeed Cache. Choose either one of them but not both or its gonna break your website. Consider it as a best practice. its a tradition issue when using cloudflare Auto Minify . Using CL Auto Minify or using a WP plugin, choose one only. Unfortunately, this is not mentioned beforehand anywhere so always to have some sites break. I know, learning from experience huh? Hi @lochanraj @yoav1987 really hit the nail on the head when he said you need to test it with your theme. Theres no one-size-fits-all way to set it up. That said, it is also true that you only need to enable minification in one place. Which minification you use is up to you, but it would be redundant to use both. Im sorry I cant give you more specific setup instructions, but @yoav1987 gave you a good place to start. Also, heres a link to our wiki, which doesnt really address your question, but it might give you some further insight. Well be exploring this topic a bit more in-depth in a future issue of WordPress Wednesday. Thanks to your question, Ill see if I can include some discussion of setting it up with CloudFlare. Lisa @ LiteSpeed Reason: fixed a typo @lclarke Thank you The last update is awesome. @yoav1987 So glad youre enjoying it! @yoav1987 @lclarke @longnha thnks for reply? i did exactly what you all suggested and it is all good now! i am using elegants extra theme, it is a great theme(style, seo) but not speed wise. Can you guys suggest any more ways to optimize it..any plugins. i am using cloudflare minify options I hope I will not be banned if I will ask Cloudflare related question here? What URLs should I use in LiteSpeed settings in relation to Cloudflare CDN? Screenshot: http://prntscr.com/gns7zd Dont use anything, ignore that if you use Cloudflare, Cloudflare is not really a CDN but does have some CDN features. Anyway, create your own thread would be better.

LiteCache Rush: Speed comes from using less, not from doing it faster
