Wordpress LScache Plugin: Auto Purge Rules Stopped Working
Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02 Hello, Since about 2 or 3 weeks, the auto purge rules dont work anymore, i can purge manually and ive change the TTL to a couple of hours so if im not around after an update, the cache will clear itself, but this isnt ideal, because i have scheduled post daily at different times, it would be nice for the cache to last from one update to the next instead of now having to be refreshed every couple of hours. Besides that Ive also change the settings of server stale to off (apparently makes no difference), thank you. please enable debug log to see what was happening during update. Ive done it, ive been trying to work this out for a while now, including creating a new article and see if it updates, well the feed updates, the article itself shows up, but the main page cache just doesnt refresh, until i manually purge all or the cache TTL goes off, i use clouflare but in both the changes appear immediately (but ive also tried with cloudflare off so it doesnt seem to be a issue on that side). The features ive turned on and off to see if it would make a change were: guest mode on/off, Cache REST API on/off, Cache PHP Resources on/off, Serve Stale on/off , no change either way. The Auto Purge Rules For Publish/Update are Everything on except All Pages, Yearly Archive and Daily Archive, but ive also turned this to All Pages, and still doesnt change anything.` Should i be looking at something specific in the logs? When it fails or succeeds? please provide the report number you can get it in toolbox -> report -> click send to LiteSpeed you should be looking for line contains x-litespeed-purge in log though. Hello, thanks, i sent the report, the number is: ZPPVUAKW Also ive been running the log for a few days, but has no mention of x-litespeed-purge, i have 1 new post that was published 2 hours ago, should i wait for you guys to get back to me, or can i purge the cache? Thanks again! does it show up if you do a hard-refresh on your browser ? or clean up browser cache ? Yeah i already tried the basic stuff, hard refresh doesnt change anything, clear browser, logged-in or logged-out, cloudflare off and on, checking on the desktop or my mobile, nothing changes, but if the litespeed main page cache TTL triggers or i manually purge the cache or someone sends a comment to the new post, then it shows fine on the main page immediately, if none of these happen, the new post is online and the feed is updated, but it just doesnt show on the main page. It used to work great, but now it just doesnt. okay , please create a ticket by mail to support at litespeedtech.com with reference link to this topic we will investigate further.
