Wordpress LScache Plugin: Are settings restored after updating to v3?
Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02 I just updated the plugin to latest version and I am all over the place. Are settings applied from previous version still applied? I have the you database has been upgrading message for the last 25 minutes. How long does thing usually take? My site is not big in any way. Where did all the settings go in the new interface ? Such as minify, combine css/js etc.? Hope you can help. I was expecting under the hood changes not that changes to everything.. This topic was modified 2 years, 7 months ago by torstenc12. Usually the upgrade process should only take few seconds , but it depends on your DB size , in particular , the image optimization table size. The previous setting should be kept as well during upgrading. Best regards, If you go to cache settings, you will see the config are supposed to be converted already. css/js is under page optimization I dont have many images at all. In the entire media library, there are 91 images in total (most are less than 100kb in size). I found the settings and oh no! They are not restoredThe database is still upgrading so I really hope settings get restores, it took a lot of testing to make those settings Settings are still in database, you wont lose them. Seems there might be a mysql upgrade error happened. Do you mind to come to our slack and pm hai or create a ticket from https://www.quic.cloud/support ? thanks. Sure. How does that work? On Slack I guess I need an invite to enter? Hi, Once you are in Slack , please use search to find Hai at LiteSpeed Or if you tell us your username in Slack , we will reach you. Best regards, Done. Database still upgrading? been 1 hour. Perhaps warn people before updating that this can happen to them?. Gotcha A short update for whom has concern on how to find previous v2s data in v3: 1. Open phpmyadmin, visit wp-options, locate option_name = litespeed-cache-conf.bk, the value is what you want.
