Wordpress LScache Plugin: All Woocommerce Products periodically purged from cache

Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02
Gday from sunny Australia. I love the Litespeed Cache plugin and it seems to do exactly what I want when pages and Woocommerce products are served from the cache. For some reason all the products are periodically cleared from the cache so the site slows down until I prime the cache again by accessing each of the products remotely using the sitemap.xml file. The cache seems to be cleared at random times several times a day, sometimes very soon after it has been reprimed. (maybe when the product is edited or the stock level changes) Is there a way I can find out what is causing the whole cache to be cleared? And hopefully just clear the products that change status. Thanks in anticipation. Cheers, John Report number: KPRFHXQZ Report date: 10/22/2018 21:55:46 The page I need help with: https://www.everythingsrosie.com.au/ Hi, Please refer this wiki , it might be helpful The tricky part is you need to find out what action , triggered the purge and then see if we can fix it or alter it. Best regards, Thank you for such an amazingly quick response. Yes? the tricky part is identifying the action that triggered it. Between when the cache was primed and when it got cleared? ? No admins updated any products. ? No orders were placed. ? An order was placed about 10 minutes before the cache was cleared. In Auto Purge Rules For Publish/Update ? only Front Page and Home Page is ticked. In Woocommerce tab Purge product and categories ? only when the stock status changes is selected. Ill set up logging and follow the wiki to see if I can spot the action that is causing the cache to clear. Maybe it is some other plugin. Ill let you know how I get on within 24 hours. Cheers, John Hi, If you have a server root access, then this could be easier for you that you can just grep x-litespeed-purge in webserver log. If you do not have server access, then we will need to play this in old-fashion way? Best regards, Thank you for your help. The grep x-litespeed-purge was a hand tip. I have discovered that when a product was edited it called one of the term hooks. I deleted the following three entries from the Litespeed > Settings > Advanced > Purge All Hooks list create_term edit_terms delete_term This stopped the whole cache being deleted each time a product is added, deleted or edited. Thanks John Hi, I am not sure if remove these 3 entries is a good idea, because by doing so , you may need to manually do purge after you edit it. What is the purge header you saw ? Best regards,
