Wordpress LScache Plugin: A real Optimize Automatically setting

Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02
Hello, Im just new with the plugin because of the new support for LiteSpeed on our server. Everything works well except the image optimizer.. Why is it not possible to optimize directly after upload? I enabled the Optimize Automatically setting but now I have to use some kind of credit system to actually use it? Would like the same system as Shortpixel so I could replace that plugin with Litespeed. No hassle just upload and automatic resize. Is there a setting so I could fix this? Afraid not. There are a few manual steps to go through, because the images are optimized on one of our remote servers, and we need to make sure that the connection between us and you is working properly before we start automating it. Once youve run a handful of manual optimizations, then the automatic setting will kick in. Apologies for any inconvenience! Welcome to LiteSpeed Oke thanks, Is there a way to lower the level 3 limit of 1500? Im done developing this website and I cant ask the client to simply go to the LiteSpeed cache settings page and a send optimization request when they upload images. Thats not user friendly at all. What happens when I move the site? Are the credits stored in the wordpress database or are all the credits gone when the site goes live on an other domain? Is the optimizer completely disabled when I turn Optimize Automatically off? Then it would be better to maybe keep using the Shortpixel plugin Hi, 1. I am not sure what is purpose for this ? if you get enough credit to do optimize automatically , then credit should no longer concern you Automatically optimization requires 1200 credits, which should be able to have that amount of credit after handful manual optimizations. After you have auto-optimize, user can just upload the images and forget about it , it will auto-opt every now and then. 2. credit will maintain if you migrate, but will be changed if you changed domain. 3. No , that feature is only for automated optimization , if you disable that, you can still manually optimize images. Best regards, Oke thank you for your answer. Ill stick to ShortPixel for now, until Litespeed works more client friendly. The caching of Litespeed works great but the optimize image system is just not developer -> client friendly.
