404 Error with CSS and JS

Wordpress LScache Plugin: 404 Error with CSS and JS

Last Updated on: Wed, 15 Apr 2026 00:00:02
Again I am presenting the 404 error when minifying and combining the CSS and JS in my web page, after the last update v4.4.1 and the topic already closed in the support forum. I attach a capture of the 404 broken files. For now I will deactivate these options so that my website continues to work, but I hope they can solve it soon and this time permanently. Thanks https://i.ibb.co/16cDvVH/Captura-de-pantalla-2021-09-21-143144.jpg I also have had this issue, it keeps on getting 404 broken css/ js. The error goes away after i clear the cache, but I cant keep my eye on the site everyday just for this. Would appreciate permanent fix from the team. Hi, yes, this is a known issue that we are working on it please disable JS combine and CSS combine for the time being Best regards Same issue for me again? Apologies for the me too post, bit I figured it was better to keep it all in one thread, rather than continue my previous thread. We were having the same issue ? missing CS and JS randomly, so weve disabled the combine options, installed the beta on our test site, and will await confirmation of the fix. please try todays v4.4.2 release @peter34332 and @mirko2511 ? how are your sites working with the 4.4.2 update? Well, it seems for now that my footer is not dissapearing after reseting LS cache to default settings. Purge notifications are gone also. But i have dissabled all page optimissation settings, since this site is live, and i cant afford anymore broken site, since my clients are rly pissed off. So for now, i cant help you with CSS/JS combine since i think that i will not use it anymore. I understand @mirko2511 ? were the same. Im tracking this thread which is a user on 4.4.2 who seems to have the same CSS / JS issues as we were seeing. I updated to 4.4.2 to all my sites and havent had the issue for a week now. But sometime it takes time for the issue to reoccur, will update if issue persists. Thanks @peter34332 ? appreciate the update. Fingers crossed! Hi @peter34332 ? just wondering if your sites are still stable since you updated to 4.4.2? There are still a few threads on the forum reporting similar issues, even with 4.4.3!
